We make certain our cultural heritage remains alive and visible to everyone. Thus we organize exhibitions at the Ateneum, Kiasma and Sinebrychoff art museums, as well as digitally in our online collection.
The Finnish National Gallery has a statutory responsibility to preserve cultural heritage and to promote awareness of art.
Our organisation
We employ approximately 280 museum experts and professionals in different departments: the Ateneum Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, Sinebrychoff Art Museum, Collections Management Department, Service Department and Finance Department.
The Finnish National Gallery council
The governance of the Finnish National Gallery is overseen by a council appointed by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The Finnish National Gallery board
The board is responsible for defining the key objectives and strategy for operations and finances, and for drawing up the financial statements and the annual report. The board of the Finnish National Gallery is appointed by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
